Class description: The online foundation is an ongoing class for students of all levels who want to be a better artist. You will learn classical French academic techniques to achieve subtle colors, brilliant light effects, clarity and spatial depth in picture making. Other topics include anatomy, perspective, lighting, color theory, and other drawing and painting fundamentals. You will be assigned individualized homework and receive constructive critiques. Subject matters range from traditional still life to interior and landscape. This class is taught by Larine Chung, co-director of the Gage Academy Classical Atelier.

Class description:   The in-person, ongoing studio is for the students of all levels to hone their drawing and painting skills. You will learn from direct observation to achieve accurate proportion, fluid line effect, clarity and spatial depth in picture making, Anatomy, form and structure will be emphasized. Subject matters include traditional portrait drawings, still life and landscape.This class is taught by Larine Chung, co-director of the Gage Academy Classical Atelier.
