Class title: Classical Drawing and Oil Painting Studio

Class description: Oil painting studio class is design to help students who have the desire to learn traditional French academic painting techniques to achieve subtle color, brilliant light effect, clarity and spacial depth in their picture making. It is an on-going class met on Wednesday or Friday 10 am to 1 pm. Our subject matter ranges from traditional still life to interior and landscape. This class is taught by Larine Chung, 2008 graduate of Juliette Aristides’ Classical painting atelier. Larine was the recipient of 2007 Robert DeZordo scholarship and 2008 Studio Escalier’s Waterway Fellowship in Argenton, France.

Class title: Figure Drawing and Painting Studio

Time and location: Friday 10:30 am to 1 pm at EAC studio
Tuition fee: $220/ month (4 classes, model fee included)
Maximum class size: 8 students
Material list will be sent upon registration.
Class description: Drawing and painting from live models, you will learn traditional French academic fine art techniques to achieve accurate proportion, fluid line effect, clarity and spacial depth in their picture making. Anatomy, form and structure will be emphasized. This is an on-going class that meets every Friday from 10 am – 1 pm. Our subject matter ranges from traditional portrait drawing to nude figure painting.
